My time as a sports journalist began as an interim volleyball beat reporter while one of the sports staff writers was sick. Although my time covering volleyball was brief, it ignited a new passion within me. From there, I became the co-lead DI hockey reporter with my close friend and sports reporting mentor, Emma Erion. My work has crossed multiple sports, seasons, and mediums of reporting, including profiles, recaps, and sidebars.
