I got my start as a student journalist writing about music. Specifically, I started at The Post, writing about heavy metal culture and the current state of the genre in my multi-award-winning column “Metal Mondays.” Throughout the years, that column has evolved, covering film, sports, and literature.

I have also reviewed albums and movies, and written several editorials in my role as editor-in-chief of The Post, the largest fully independent student-run news publication covering Ohio University and Athens County.
